One of three NIH Common Fund Transformative High-Resolution Cryo-EM national service centers, located at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, 2575 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, CA. Provides high-resolution single-particle and tomography data collection on four Titan Krios microscopes plus a Glacios 2 and a Tundra, along with specimen preparation devices, remote operation, and training residencies. Closely affiliated with the separately funded Stanford-SLAC CryoET Specimen Preparation Center (SCSC) in the same building.
Open to the US research community at no charge for non-profit use; project applications are due the first of each month, are peer reviewed by an external committee on scientific merit, and approved users register via the SLAC User Portal and sign an institutional user agreement.
