Vendor-operated membership center opened by Thermo Fisher Scientific on March 5, 2026 at Oyster Point, South San Francisco, modeled on the UK Pharmaceutical Cryo-EM Consortium in Cambridge (est. 2016). Member companies access a Krios G4 with cold FEG, Selectris X and Falcon 4i, Vitrobot IV preparation labs, Smart EPU and CryoSPARC Live, with Thermo Fisher application scientists on site. It is a real facility but is a corporate consortium/demonstration center, not an academic core facility or a contract research organization.
