The Arnold and Mabel Beckman Center for Cryo-Electron Microscopy in the UW Department of Biochemistry is co-directed by Justin Kollman and David Veesler. It operates a 300 kV Titan Krios G3 with a Gatan BioQuantum energy filter and K3 detector, a 200 kV Glacios with a Gatan K3, a 120 kV Tecnai G2 Spirit and a 100 kV Morgagni for screening, an Aquilos 2 cryo-FIB-SEM, a chameleon, three Vitrobots and a Leica GP2, backed by a shared CPU/GPU cluster with 1.8 PB of storage. Fred Hutch scientists access the Krios through a Beckman Foundation funded consortium.
