The Leduc Bioimaging Facility is a Brown BioMed core in Sidney Frank Hall that provides light microscopy, electron microscopy and cryo-EM to the Brown community and outside investigators. Its cryo-EM capability is a Thermo Scientific Tundra 100 kV cryo-TEM with a Falcon C direct detector and semi-automated AutoGrid loader, supported by a Vitrobot Mark IV plunge freezer and an Emitech K100X glow discharger. The facility also runs an Apreo VS serial block-face SEM, several confocal systems and ultramicrotomes.
