The Multiscale Microscopy Core is OHSU's institutional electron microscopy core, located in the Robertson Life Sciences Building on the South Waterfront campus. It operates a Glacios cryo-TEM, a Tecnai T12 with iCorr, two Helios DualBeam FIB-SEMs (one with cryo stage), a VolumeScope II serial block-face SEM, a CorrSight CLEM system and a Vitrobot, and a Talos L120C was funded for installation in winter 2024. The NIH-funded Pacific Northwest Center for Cryo-EM (PNCC), which houses four Titan Krios, one Talos Arctica and a Glacios 2, is a separate national user facility in the same building operated by OHSU and PNNL and is accessed through peer-reviewed proposals, not through the MMC.
External academic users submit a proposal for review; external corporate users sign a user agreement and set up a purchase order (W-9) and then submit sample requests via the services form or iLab.
