The Analytical Imaging Facility at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, on the Jack and Pearl Resnick Campus in the Bronx, offers cryo-transmission electron microscopy of vitreous ice-embedded samples. Its cryo-capable instrument is a Tecnai 20 TEM used to study the assembly, regulation and function of macromolecular complexes. External investigators can access the facility at a marked-up rate.
Non-Einstein and non-closely-affiliated investigators are charged 200 percent of posted fees, indicating outside users are accepted at a surcharge.
