Yale CryoEM Resource (YCR)

The Yale CryoEM Resource is a university-wide core unified in July 2020 with sites at West Campus, the Yale School of Medicine, and Science Hill. It operates a 300 kV Titan Krios G2 (K3, Falcon 3EC, GIF Quantum LS, Volta phase plate) at West Campus, two 200 kV Glacios instruments (one at YSM with K3 and Volta phase plate, one on Science Hill with K3 and MicroED capability), a Tecnai T12 at YSM, and a Talos L120C on Science Hill. Sample preparation covers three Vitrobot Mark IVs, an SPT Labtech chameleon, glow dischargers, plasma cleaners, and coaters.

YCR welcomes both Yale and external researchers with priority to Yale-affiliated users; external users receive access request forms during onboarding and book via PPMS, with rates on page 8 of the YCR Policies document.
