Cryo-EM Internship KEK IMSS Structural Biology Research Center, Japan Application deadline: 01 Aug 2026 The Structural Biology Research Center (SBRC) at the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) is welcoming applications for its Cryo-EM Internship Program. We welcome undergraduate students, graduate students, technical college students, and early-career researchers from diverse scientific backgrounds. Previous specialization in structural biology is not required. What we offer: Practical training using a 100 kV cryo-electron microscope (two weeks) International applicants are welcome Applicants from diverse scientific backgrounds are encouraged to apply Personalized, hands-on training (typically one participant; at most two participants per session) Free participation for applicants from universities and non-profit research institutions Access to on-site institute dormitory accommodation Accommodation support may be available depending on eligibility and program conditions A preliminary consultation before application is required and helps us determine whether the program is a good fit for your background and training goals.
