About This Position
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Associate jointly mentored by the Gibson (Cell & Molecular Biology) and Skiniotis (Structural Biology) labs to study fundamental mechanisms of higher-order genome organization. The fellow will reconstitute and characterize condensed chromatin assemblies in vitro and prepare cryo-EM and cryo-ET specimens of chromatin assemblies and cells, with access to the Center of Excellence for Structural Cell Biology, including a 300 keV Titan Krios G4, cryo-FIB milling, and dedicated GPU workstations for image processing. Requires a PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology, or a related field with first-author publications and hands-on cryo-EM/cryo-ET, chromatin biochemistry, or macromolecular biophysics experience.
