Proteros Biostructures

Proteros Biostructures GmbH is a drug discovery CRO headquartered at Bunsenstrasse 7a, 82152 Martinsried (Planegg, near Munich), Germany, with a North American office at One Broadway, Cambridge, MA. Its cryo-EM Center of Excellence, launched in September 2020 in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, operates an in-house Glacios cryo-TEM with a Falcon 4 direct electron detector alongside a Vitrobot Mark IV and Tecnai Spirit and Philips CM100 microscopes for negative staining. The service is offered in three modules (protein sciences, EM feasibility analysis, structure determination) with 12 h Glacios datasets and 24-72 h datasets on the Glacios or on a Titan Krios accessed externally.
