The Beckman Center for Cryo-EM at Johns Hopkins provides cryo-EM to the Johns Hopkins and regional communities. It operates a 300 kV Titan Krios G3i with Falcon 4i detector and Selectris energy filter, a 200 kV Glacios with Falcon 4i and Ceta-D, and an Aquilos II cryo-FIB/SEM with integrated fluorescence for cryo-CLEM, supported by Vitrobot Mark IV plungers, a Leica EM ACE600 coater and a PELCO easiGlow. Scheduling runs through iLab and facility staff.
Regional external users contact facility staff (Duncan Sousa, Kai Cai, David Ding) to discuss the project before scheduling; non-profit external rates are 20% above the posted JHU rates, industry pricing on request, samples typically shipped in a dry shipper.
