About This Position
Proteomics Specialist at Human Technopole (Milan, Italy), a fixed-term 3-year researcher role developing advanced mass spectrometry proteomics workflows. Responsibilities include operating LC-MS platforms, managing high-throughput sample processing for hundreds to thousands of samples, data analysis, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting, training researchers, and implementing QA procedures for the facility. Requires a PhD in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or related field, at least 5 years hands-on experience with bottom-up proteomics and MS sample preparation, fluency with proteomics search engines (MaxQuant, FragPipe, Dia-NN, Spectronaut), and experience in plasma, spatial/tissue, clinical, or single-cell proteomics.
