About This Position
Postdoctoral position at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, developing machine learning approaches for peptide fragmentation analysis using tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) data. The researcher will design ML workflows for large-scale MS/MS data analysis, develop data-driven fragmentation models incorporating peptide sequence, charge state, collision energy and modifications, curate and QC experimental datasets, and build reproducible computational pipelines within the Protein Research Group. Requires a PhD in computational proteomics, bioinformatics, machine learning, computer science or a related field, strong ML/deep learning experience, and Python proficiency. Fixed-term, 2 years with possible 1-year extension, starting January 2027 or as soon as possible.
