PhD Position in Computational Mass Spectrometry Imaging and Spatial Metabolomics

This PhD fellowship at Aarhus University's Roskilde campus focuses on developing computational methods and open-source tools for processing and interpreting mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) and spatial metabolomics data. The successful candidate will work at the intersection of computational science, biochemistry, microbiology and analytical chemistry, building batch-processing workflows and spatial segmentation algorithms, collaborating with experimental scientists, and publishing findings alongside released software. Full-time, fixed-term position with a preferred start date of February 1, 2027.
