Research Fellow in Computational Structural Biology

The University of Birmingham School of Biosciences is hiring a Research Fellow in Computational Structural Biology to develop and apply computational methods, including molecular dynamics simulations and enhanced-sampling techniques, to study membrane proteins, protein-ligand complexes, and macromolecular assemblies, integrating results with cryo-EM, crystallography, NMR, and mass spectrometry data. Duties include independent research, publishing, supervising PhD students, and contributing to funding applications. Requires a PhD in computational structural biology, biophysics, or a related field with demonstrated MD simulation expertise.
