Postdoctoral Fellow

Postdoctoral Research Associate position in the Xiaojiang Chen laboratory, Department of Molecular and Cellular Biosciences, University of Southern California. The role focuses on structural and functional studies of enzymes involved in DNA/RNA transcription linked to cancer and infectious disease, using cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, biochemistry, and molecular biology, with access to USC's advanced cryo-EM and X-ray facilities and opportunities to collaborate with chemical biologists on enzyme mechanism studies. Multi-year funding at the NIH postdoctoral stipend scale with full fringe benefits; PhD required.
