POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE

The Feng Lab at Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute is hiring a Postdoctoral Associate to study disease-related membrane proteins and protein complexes, with a particular focus on endogenous ion channels, using cryo-EM alongside biochemical and biophysical methods to determine structures and elucidate structure-function relationships. Responsibilities include designing experiments, analyzing data, presenting findings, and contributing to manuscript preparation. Requires a PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology, neuroscience, or a related field with experience in cryo-EM imaging and data processing; protein expression/purification, electrophysiology, or computational biology skills are a plus.
