About This Position

The Department of Chemistry, Yale University, New Haven, CT invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to commence as early as July 1, 2027. We seek creative teacher-scholars to teach inspiring courses and develop outstanding research programs in biophysical or physical chemistry broadly defined. Materials required for a complete application include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a future research plan prefaced by a single-page summary and consisting of up to three proposals, and a teaching-philosophy statement. The cover letter must clearly state the candidate’s self-identified division(s) of chemistry, e.g. experimental physical chemistry.
