The Iowa State University Cryo-EM Facility is an Office of Biotechnology core in the Molecular Biology Building supporting single particle cryo-EM of viruses, macromolecular complexes, and nanoparticles. It operates a 200 kV Glacios with X-FEG, cryo-autoloader, and Gatan K3 detector using EPU and SerialEM, with a Vitrobot Mark IV for vitrification and a Refeyn TwoMP mass photometer. Data processing uses a 250 TB local store and the Pronto GPU cluster, and services are open to ISU, other academic, and industry users.
