The Sauer Structural Biology Laboratory is a Center for Biomedical Research Support core at UT Austin, opened in 2017 and directed by Axel Brilot. It operates a 300 kV Titan Krios G3 with a Gatan BioContinuum filter and K3 detector, a 200 kV Glacios with a Falcon 4i detector, a 120 kV JEOL 1400 screening S/TEM and a Zeiss GeminiSEM 460, and offers assisted and unassisted use, training and collaborations for single-particle cryo-EM, cryo-ET and microED.
