The Cryo-Electron Microscopy Core at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey was established in 2020 and is separate from the Huck Institutes facility at University Park. It operates a 300 kV Titan Krios G3i with a Gatan K3 and BioQuantum energy filter, a 200 kV JEOL JEM-2100 with cryo holder, a Hydra plasma cryo-FIB-SEM, a Zeiss LSM 980 cryo-confocal and a Vitrobot Mark IV.
