The Columbia University Cryo-Electron Microscopy Center is a single core spanning the Hammer Health Sciences Center at CUIMC, the Zuckerman Institute (Jerome L. Greene Science Center) and the New York Structural Biology Center. Columbia-owned instruments include two 300 kV Krios G3i microscopes with Falcon 3 cameras and Gatan Quantum LS energy filters with K3 detectors at Hammer, a Krios at the Zuckerman Institute (Krios Z), a 200 kV Glacios at Hammer maintained by NYSBC staff, and a Tecnai Spirit at the Russ Berrie Pavilion. Staff provide grid preparation guidance, automated data collection and initial frame processing; external users are accommodated when time is available.
