Michigan State University's Research Technology Support Facility operates a dedicated cryo-EM core as part of a 15 million dollar expansion of cryo-EM infrastructure. The facility runs a 300 kV Titan Krios G4i for single-particle analysis and cryo-electron tomography alongside a Talos Arctica used for negative stain and cryo-grid screening. It also provides FIB-SEM lamella preparation and a full suite of vitrification and glow-discharge equipment.
