The National Cryo-EM Facility at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research, within FNL's Cancer Research Technology Program, provides no-cost high-resolution data collection to US cancer researchers. It operates two Thermo Fisher Titan Krios microscopes, each with a Falcon 3EC detector and a Gatan K3 behind a BioQuantum energy filter, with a Volta phase plate on one. The second Krios came online in 2020; the facility has run over 600 sessions for about 100 investigators at 50 institutions.
