MICEF is a collaborative NIH intramural cryo-EM facility administered by NIDDK that serves the NHLBI, NIDDK, NIAMS and NINDS scientific communities, with microscopes in Buildings 13 and 50 on the Bethesda campus. It houses two Titan Krios microscopes with GIF Quantum K2 systems, a Glacios and an Aquilos cryo-FIB, and is distinct from the NIDDK-only Cryo-EM Core in Building 8.
