Brandeis operates its electron microscopy core on the fourth floor of the Rosenstiel Basic Medical Sciences Research Center in Waltham, Massachusetts. In 2024 an NSF Major Research Instrumentation grant funded a Tundra cryo-TEM with a Falcon C direct detector, replacing a retired Tecnai F30. The facility, directed by Avital Rodal, serves Brandeis researchers as well as outside academic and for-profit users.
