LSU's Advanced Microscopy and Analytical Core in the Chemistry and Materials Building operates a 120 kV JEOL JEM-1400 TEM with a Gatan cryo-plunge system for frozen-hydrated cryo-TEM specimens, alongside a Thermo Fisher Spectra 300 S/TEM fitted with a Gatan ELSA cryo-transfer holder. Separate cryo-TEM hourly rates are posted for internal academic, external academic and industry users.
