The University of Kentucky Electron Microscopy and Materials Characterization Core operates an FEI Talos F200X field emission TEM at 200 keV, with 80, 100 and 120 keV modes for biological samples, a Ceta camera, Super-X EDS, Gatan EELS and a Gatan Elsa cryo holder. The core is primarily a materials characterization facility and offers training and assistance to commercial businesses and other external users.
