EICN is the electron microscopy core of UCLA's California NanoSystems Institute, serving both materials science and structural biology. Its cryo-EM instruments are a Titan Krios G4 (E-CFEG, Falcon 4i, Selectris X; announced January 2025) and a Titan Krios G1 (BioQuantum + K3), alongside a Titan 80-300 S/TEM, an NSF BioPACIFIC Spectra 300C, TF20, T20 iCorr and T12 TEMs, three SEMs, and a Vitrobot Mark IV. Users can be trained for self-operation or request staff-assisted imaging.
