The Biomolecular Cryo-Electron Microscopy Facility in the UCSC Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, located in Sinsheimer Labs, operates a Thermo Fisher Glacios cryo-TEM with a Falcon 4i direct electron detector plus a plunge-freezing suite and GPU processing workstations. It offers full-service, assisted, independent and consulting access modes to UCSC and UC researchers, external academic groups and industry partners.
