The Biological Electron Microscopy Facility is run by the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology in Briggs Hall on the UC Davis main campus. It operates a 200 kV Glacios cryo-TEM with a Gatan K3 direct electron detector for grid screening and high-resolution single-particle data collection. The facility opened in 2020 and serves both campus and external researchers on a recharge basis.
