Scripps Research in La Jolla has no publicly listed cryo-EM core; the Cores and Services directory lists a Microscopy Core whose electron microscopes are a 120 kV FEI Talos L120C with Ceta 16M camera and a Hitachi S4800 SEM, with Leica ultramicrotomes and a GloQube glow discharger. The institute's high-end cryo-EM instruments (a Titan Krios with Gatan K2 Summit and a Talos, installed in 2014) are operated for the Department of Integrative Structural and Computational Biology and are documented only in a 2014 institutional news article.
