The Molecular Foundry, a DOE nanoscience user facility at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, operates a 120 kV JEOL 1400 cryo-TEM with a Gatan OneView camera for cryo-EM and micro-electron diffraction of soft materials and biomolecular particles in a near-native state. Access is through the Foundry's proposal-based user program, and for demanding samples users are pointed to the UC Berkeley Titan Krios G3, which is a separate facility.
